How Can Skilled Players Encourage Those With Less Ability

Question: Imagine that you have a teammate who is having trouble advancing in skill level. He or she confides to you a concern that the other members of the team will not accept him or her. Describe three ways you can help your teammate.

Answer: Three ways that I can help my teammate is by

1) tell them that you will be there for them and support them

2) to try something them that will be encouraging and positive

3) assure them that they will be excepted into the group and to stand by them during practices

Question: What are two benefits of practicing a sport?

Answer: It can help a person improve their personal fitness and make them better in the sport. This can lead to success and winning games.

Question: What are some of the long term benefits of being a positive influence on less skilled players?

Answer: Some long term benefits is that you make true or find your best friend. You can also help the less skilled players and by them succeeding in the sport, your team as a whole succeeds. It also encourages less skilled players to work harder to be as good as you.

Question: How can skilled players encourage those with less ability?

Answer: Skilled players can encourage those will less ability by befriending them. This can lead to connects which makes that skilled player a mentor for the those with less ability.

Question: Consider Australian football, cricket, and field hockey. Of the three, list which of those sports you find the most interesting, why it interests you, and a few rules of the game.

Answer: I find cricket interesting because it is not a popular sport in America. I find it’s interesting that it’s so similar to tennis but has its own, different rules. A rule is that there has to be 22 players on the field and that an umpires rule is final.
