5 Steps Of Impeachment

Question: Step 1: Impeachment resolution and house judiciary committee

Answer: A member of house turns in aquzations and the hjc decides whether these allegations should be introduced to the whole house.

Question: Step 2: House of Representatives Votes

Answer: The entire house writes on whether or not the impeachment gets investigated 51% has to vote to pass

Question: Step 3: Judiciary Committees investigation and draft articles

Answer: The HJC investigated evidence and determines if there is enough evidence to write the articles of impeachment. Then they vote on each one if they approve it goes to step 4.

Question: Step 4: The Referral and Vote of the Articles

Answer: If the HJC refers one or more articles of impeachment, the entire house of representatives votes on whether the articles are in the Senate.

Question: Step 5: The President is Impeached

Answer: The president is impeached if the house approves one article. The house managers are district attorneys.
