Answer: The ability to influence or control the behavior of people and it is a part of every human interaction. You can see the effects of this in your relationships with family, friends, in school, and government. Ex. French Revolution, WWI, Ottoman Empire, or Latin American Independence Movements.

Question: Human Rights Violations and Inequality

(Injustice, Discrimination, Genocide)

Answer: These are basic rights and freedoms to which all humans are considered to be entitled. This occurs when once group has more power than another. Ex. Imperialism, Holocaust, Armenian Massacre, French Revolution, or Latin American Independence Movements.

Question: Innovation

(Impact of Industrialization and Modernization)

Answer: This is a change, a new method, or new idea. It may have positive and negative impacts. Ex. Agrarian Revolution, Urbanization, Modernization, Industrialization or WWI.

Question: Revolution/Rebellion

Answer: This happens when a group of people attempt to take over and/or replace their own government leaders and/or system. Ex. French Revolution, Russian Revolution, Sepoy Rebellion, or Boxer Rebellion.
